SPRING INTENSIVE
We are pleased to present the Spring Intensive Dance Course at EDAM – Conservatório de Dança Ana Mangericão, taking place from April 6 to April 10, 2026. This intensive artistic experience has been designed to provide young dancers with a week of technical, artistic, and personal growth in a demanding, inspiring, and highly enriching environment.
Open to students aged 7 to 18 years old, this program offers a complete immersion in dance, allowing participants to develop their technique, musicality, expressiveness, and stage presence, guided by a faculty of outstanding pedagogical excellence.
It is also a unique opportunity to experience firsthand the environment and structure of a Conservatory with nearly 50 years of experience, recognized for its pedagogical rigor, individual attention, and commitment to artistic excellence.

Throughout this intensive week, students will have the opportunity to work with distinguished in-house and guest faculty, including Barbora Hruskova, Tiago Coelho, Denise Mantovani, Simone Muller, Patrícia Góis, Vanessa Bengala, Susana Rodrigues, and Patrícia Cayatte, among other guest teachers to be announced.
This diverse faculty allows students to experience different technical approaches and artistic perspectives, fostering consistent and meaningful artistic development.

Students will be placed in levels according to their age, experience, and technical and artistic development
The course will culminate in a final presentation of the work developed, which will take place on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 6:00 PM, at the CriArte Auditorium, offering students an essential stage experience and the opportunity to share their artistic progress.
ADMISSION
SPRING INTENSIVE
EDAM STUDENTS
EDAM students are exempt from submitting a pre-selection video. They will be placed in the appropriate modules based on the pedagogical and artistic knowledge already held by the EDAM Artistic Direction regarding their training, development, and technical level.
EXTERNAL STUDENTS
Admission to the program requires the submission of a pre-selection video (maximum 5 minutes). This video will allow the Artistic Direction to assess the candidate’s technical and artistic level and ensure appropriate placement in the most suitable group.
VIDEO REQUIREMENTS

Adagio exercise in centre practice, including développés devant, à la seconde, and fouetté into 1st arabesque;

Pirouette exercise including battements tendus, chassés, and rond de jambe à terre (en dehors and en dedans);

Grand Allegro sequence (maximum 32 counts).

Students enrolled in EDAM’s CONTINUUM Program benefit from an additional 5% discount
PAYMENT TERMS
Participants have the option to pay the full course fee at the time of registration or choose a two-installment payment plan.
Under the installment option, 50% of the total fee must be paid upon submission of the application form, and the remaining 50% must be paid by March 27, 2026.
Placement in the program is only guaranteed upon receipt of the initial payment.
